For the dear Magical525, who created two ornaments for the stitchingpirates secret santa ornament exchange, but only got put into the drawing once. I stepped up to the opportunity to create one for her in exchange for the second one.

With honesty, this has been done for some time, but I loath photo days and as such it hasn't been mailed out just yet. I didn't stress about getting it packaged up with everything else going on since Magical told me "as long as it's on the tree by next year", and I'm so, so thankful for that.

The pattern/quote is one I found through pinterest that simply credited BuzzFeed. Then I went hunting some more, and found it linked over here: plumstreetsamplers.typepad.com… So, I'm not really sure where it originated at, but I took the phrase and cup and altered it into this new pattern.

Mom helped me out on the finishing for this. I have no idea how to use a sewing machine... so, yep. There you go. She machine'd three sides, filled it with some leftover fabrics, and hand stitched the last side. Then I created the twisty-trim from thirty feet of thread (15 white, 15 blue) and hot-glued that around the edges. [Side note: I learned how to use the hot glue gun very recently on a previous project that hasn't yet been posted.]

All in all, fun, short, sweet, and worth all the final touches. Really hope you love it my friend.
