Kreinik Color Wheel

Description

I was working on euclidstriangle's Dragon and it occurred to me that if I wanted to be 100% sure about my color choices for the Kreinik that I needed to, ya know, own them. Well, it was going to be like $30 just to buy the spools I had picked and check if they were the right color selections. I don't have problem spending $30 on materials if I know they'll be materials I'm using, but to buy a bunch up and then end up not even using them anyway...

I realized that if I'm going to be using a bunch of Kreinik in my design projects that I better have at least one spool sample on hand anyway so that I can refer to them and get happy looking at all the sparkles. Ah... uh... There's, if I counted right, 322 different spools to buy. And that's just by the basic color chart, that doesn't even take into account the different widths the ribbon comes in and such. I was looking to invest, at bare minimum, something like $1000 into one of each spool, just so that I could panic trying to find a place to display them where they wouldn't get dusty.
:iconsweatsnervouslyplz:
So whilst I mulled over this large potential investment, even considered asking my mom for a small loan to do it, I got back to working on other stuff. I'm joining a Brazilian Embroidery class soon and needed to grab a new sewing basket to carry around those projects with, so I was shoppppinggg. :la: The large sewing baskets are like $60+ and then add shipping and everything becomes :stare: so I was doing a lot of clicking around Amazon looking at all these different sewing accessories and such and then BAM!
:iconhandspazzplz:
This glorious Kreinik color card dropped itself onto my screen, there may have been angelic choirs accompanying. Here, glory of all glories, was not just actual thread samples of all the available Krenik spools, but it even had a sample card for the different size differences. I may or may not have made high pitched girly sounds.
AND SO, WITHOUT FURTHER RAMBLING, MY DESIGNER KIT HAS LEVELED UP. :iconnaileditplz:
