Three of my cousins are currently engaged. Logically, then, this is the first of three wedding samplers to be finished in my upcoming workload. Here is for my cousin Hannah and her fiance Andy.
This is a pattern I purchased from danceneedle, it can be found right here: www.etsy.com/listing/262813422… Originally there was a different black tree with red hearts and two birds on a swing... I messaged danceneedle about it and she replied it was no longer available, so I had to go with this one instead. The first one was a lot nicer but whatchagunnado, if it's not available it's not available.
I modified the pattern ever so slightly, adding a heart between the two birds and obviously adding the text. The fonts for both their names and the date are from Hobbyware's Pattern Maker Professional program. This is the first time I have ever used the 'stardust' fabric and I am in loveeeeeee~ it's SO pretty! The scanner toned it down quite a bit but as I'm sure other stitchers can attest the sparkles are truly fabulous with silver thread woven directly into the fabric. The black is plain cotton black and the red is that super shiny satin/rayon kind of thread.
I love you guys, thanks for letting me offer you this gift in celebration of your marriage.
