Hi everybody! There sure are a whole lot of new faces for me to see and names to learn, so we can only hope that I can get them memorized in time. Here's a run down of things to help you get acquainted. The first thing for you to learn is that I like to type a lot!
On the newest Mucha WIP that gained so much attention: it is not my drawing, nor should you expect drawings from me. It is a piece that has been started with permission of the original artist, Hannah-Alexander, to convert her artwork into patterns for cross-stitching. I'm going to turn the WIP into a piece similar to this:

Several artists are already working on the first set:

If you want more drawings from me, as many of you who are saying "you're welcome!" seem to think I'm doing I'm afraid it's a very long road to disappointment. I hardly ever post my drawings, and when I do they look like this:
So I am quite sorry if you were looking forward to more drawings from me, because it simply doesn't happen more than once every few years.
Here's another thing! I'm trying to thank everyone in my inbox! Yes, even the people still sitting there from April. I promise I'm going to get to you all and thank you personally, because it sincerely does mean a ton to me each time I get a message. I suspect what you are thinking is somewhere along the lines of, "each thank you can't seriously have that much impact!" but it does. I take time out of nearly every hour of the day to thank you guys (because the spam filter gets mad at me if I try to thank everybody at once).
Because there's so many of you awesome people (not a complaint!) it takes a long time for me to do this though. That's why there's still people there from April, and why I still haven't returned a handful of llamas. I can't thank people all day! (Even in the spam filter would let me... ) I still have to get my artwork and regular work done, I still have to eat and sleep (unfortunately), and I do take time out to chill in front of the TV with my family every other night. There's a lot going on and I really appreciate patience in learning who all of you are.
I know many of you started watching me for my bead dresses and haven't seen many of them this year. I'm sorry about that! I got pulled back to my first love, cross-stitching, and it has sort of consumed all my projects. There's still bead dresses marked for this year and into many future ones. But... right now cross-stitching is filling me with a lot of excitement and I'm never one to spurn creativity when it sparks.
I'm also apprenticing for a real life seamstress who's been sewing for nearly 70 years, and that takes time too! When I'm not thanking you lovely deviants, working on a new pattern, or stitching something pretty, I'm learning a literal lifetime of work from my seamstress master, Joann. This should translate to even more of my time being eaten up but more importantly I'll be able to make real-people-sized dresses which... drumroll... should lead to real-people-sized bead dresses! Those who have been here know this but for you newcomers you should know just how exciting that is for me!!
I hope you all have a beautiful day, week, month, and onwards. If there's anything you want to ask me or say, please feel free! I answer everybody eventually.
