Twilight Princess Xstitch Pattern (Glasmond) by pinkythepink Twilight Princess Xstitch Pattern (Glasmond) by pinkythepink

Okay, here they are! :squee: Two of my favorite Nintendo Princesses, Midna and Zelda, holding hands in glorious contrast: Night and Day, Light and Dark, Yin and Yang. This is a cross-stitch pattern and the digital preview colors do not match what the real world colors will be. Real world colors are designed to be as close to the original artwork as possible.

Original amazing art is by Glasmond and can be found here:
Between Day And Night by Glasmond

Magical525, Mattsma, SpitfireFae, Fusainne, Katjakay, and GraniteFire helped a great deal with color, pattern, and quality control.

Glasmond was amazing enough to let me use her artwork. She even wants me to stitch her up a whole version of it to display in her shop!! :la: You can find her shop's facebook page here: www.facebook.com/MunichItemSho…

This is a medium-high experience level pattern. There are blends, metallics, beads, partial/petite stitches, backstitching, and lots of awesome. Once finished you're of course welcome to hang it in any direction you like; I just prefer "Zelda Up" because that's how I'm used to seeing it on my mobile background. :)

All in all, this is about 20 hours worth of work including start-to-finish pattern drawing, getting help from GraniteFire to add Zelda's triforce, quality control, and packaging it all together for Etsy. Now... onto stitching it! :eager:

I assume that you know how to cross stitch when you buy it, yes. :la: But there are special instructions like how to handle the petite stitches, the order of stitching, links to how to properly add beads, places I prefer to shop, and so on.

I mean the little icon that shows up underneath your username, it's in the upper left of your profile page too.

Ah! :happybounce: At the very top of the screen, in the upper right where your username is, hover your mouse there, go to settings. You'll see it!

I noticed it said "Change Avatar" when I hit "Settings" so what do I do from there after hitting "Change Your Avatar?" Hit "Upload Image, or "Use Webcam?"

Either works. :D I upload an image myself, many years ago to the pink box I use today. They have to be 50x50 pixels in image size, but I'm not sure about the actual file size.

:eager: Just gotta find the perfect fabric to underlay it now, I'm thinking something plain since it's fully stitched, and then I'll just do something fancy for the border.

Sparkly fabric so the fabric between the stitching and the border sparkles :D

My thoughts exactly :la: But since the whole picture is fully stitched, I think I'm doing plain fabric and then brushing glitter all over the edges. :D

That might also work - I just fear glitter and it's ability to show up even 2 years after having banished it from the house.

:giggle: I can understand your fear even though I do not share it. :la: I love leaning down and still finding glitter on my bedroom floor years after the project is finished and countless vacuuming days have happened.
