The Twin Peaks Bird by pinkythepink The Twin Peaks Bird by pinkythepink
Click download for the huge version.

Just an image of the opening theme's bird from David Lynch's Twin Peaks.

The internet is seriously lacking Twin Peaks images, so this image is straight off the TV with my camera.

Edit: There are other things that exist in my gallery, would you take a moment to stop by?

It's a Bewick's Wren.
"It's not a Bewick's Wren, this is a female Varied Thrush."

In other news, seriously, this screencap gets more attention than anything else I ever submitted. What does this attest to? Is my art just not good enough? Should I not compare myself to the epic artist that is Lynch and his epic bird? This one image seems to pop up everywhere, directly or indirectly linking itself back to me and this deviation. I've seen it on Facebook, tumblr, yahoo questions... and yes, for those of you asking, "well, it's a screencap, couldn't someone else have also taken a picture and posted it?", I have the ability to check. It's called "when I blurred the corners to hide the reflection of the lamps in my room". These blurs show up, it's my image. Pretty simple. Unless someone else is also blurring their images the same way...? This image gets so much more attention than the rest of my gallery that it is now an ongoing joke between myself and my friends. Seriously, TWIN PEAKS BIRD, y u no show off my bead dresses?!

:salute:
I love Twin Peaks.
Look, a wild collection of twin peaks art! Not even done by me, so it's safe to look! :icontwin-peaks:

No problem, was just googling it after someone brought it up on a birding subreddit, can't believe how many people say it's a wren, lol

Hey, no prob, if you're not a birder or ornithologist, it's an easy mistake if you assume they shot with an orange filter. Especially if people are spreading misinformation.

Good luck on the rest of your gallery getting noticed, but I think you'll end up with a lot more people googling "Twin Peaks Bird" lol

If you do a google search for "the twin peaks bird", there are a few websites that say what it is.

You will love it more when you actually see the show.
