How to Embellish with Bead Shapes

Description

I bring you my third and final (for this project, at least) tutorial on attaching beads. This was something I couldn't find the information anywhere for  no matter what I typed into Pinterest, searched on forums, or even just trying to find close-up photos of Mirabilia work, I could not find a satisfactory set of instructions to securely attach shape beads.

I'm doing this both as a public service to you and to the rest of the internet - it's sort of shameful there's not instructions for this out there already, and if they are out there they aren't easy to find!!

You may be interested in this YouTube video put out by Mill Hill (or so I believe) for attaching some specialty shapes. I loaded about a minute of it before my internet gave up on it and that minute took me half an hour to do anyway... :( so for those of you with good internet maybe the video will help you more than anything I could put out. It seems like they have more in the series as well.

Great tutorials, thanks for sharing! I've had an old cross-stich project sitting around that I never finished because I lost the beads that were supposed to go with it. This really makes me want to pull it out and finish it!
