Bell was my kitty from the summer of 2003 up until May 23rd, 2011, when she passed away peacefully here at home. When we first got her, she weighed 40 pounds. Since being in our care she dropped to 23 pounds and kept that stable weight for many years. No, we don't know how she got that big to begin with, but we did everything we could to keep her healthy and her joints from pain. She had special diet food and medication to help her, and we gave her baths to keep her clean since she couldn't reach to bathe herself.
