Beaded Rooster

This is a technique I didn't know was "official"! When I worked on pinkythepink.deviantart.com/ar… I simply thought I was running with some freestyle idea. I'd never heard of anyone doing whole pictures with beads unless they were just beads and thread - without a cloth to support it in the back. It's called, simply, Counted Beadwork, and it combines Cross Stitch with beads.

It's awesome. These are all silver lined beads. Next time, I'll be using thread that matches the beads' color.

The pattern itself is from the book called "BEAUTIFUL Counted Beadwork". Now that I know the technique, I'll be applying it to patterns all over the place.
